WA23B

The WA23B® is the next-generation evolution of the WA23 platform. The WA23B has been engineered for higher throughput, improved usability, and the same uncompromising crimp quality required in mission-critical applications. This compact, heavy-duty pneumatic indent crimp tool delivers cycle times twice as fast as the previous model, making it ideal for high-volume production environments.

Designed for precision termination of large-gauge components, the WA23B reliably crimps machined contacts, uninsulated terminals, and uninsulated splices from 8 through 4/0 AWG. It operates on standard shop air (100-120 psi) and incorporates a full-cycle control system to ensure complete, repeatable crimps with every cycle.

The updated design features enhanced ergonomics and a reduced footprint, improving operator comfort and workspace efficiency. A dedicated gaging state further supports process control and quality assurance in regulated applications.

The WA23B is fully compatible with DMC’s AS22520/23 dies and locators, as well as standard PICO 400 series dies and locators, allowing for seamless integration into existing tooling setups. Qualified to SAE AS22520 and carrying military part number M22520/23-01, the WA23B meets the stringent requirements of aerospace, defense, and other high-reliability industries.

For alternative power options, a manual hydraulic version (HD23) and a battery-powered model (HDE23C) are also available.
