WA23

The WA23® heavy-duty pneumatic indent crimp tool is purpose-built for efficient, repeatable termination of large-gauge contacts and terminals. Designed to handle contact sizes from 8 through 4/0 AWG, the WA23 operates on standard 90–120 psi (6.20–8.27 BAR) shop air, eliminating the need for auxiliary boosters even on the largest applications.

Engineered with operator safety and productivity in mind, the WA23 features a full-cycle control system that ensures complete, consistent crimps every time. Its ergonomic design supports ease of use in demanding production environments, while maintaining the precision required for mission-critical terminations.

The tool is fully compatible with WA23 (M22520/23) and Rennsteig Pico 400 dies and locators, which can be interchanged quickly without the need for special tooling. Custom accessories are also available to support specialized applications.

An enhanced version, the WA23B, offers additional performance improvements including faster cycle times, a dedicated gaging state, and a more compact footprint while retaining all the proven capabilities of the original WA23. Both the WA23 and WA23B are qualified to AS22520/23 and carry the military part number M22520/23-01.

For alternative power options, a manual hydraulic version (HD23) and a battery-powered model (HDE23C) are also available.
