HC136
- Crimps 8 AWG - 750 MCM on copper and aluminum
The HC136 dieless hydraulic crimp tool is engineered for high-force, precision crimping across 8 AWG through 750 MCM on both copper and aluminum applications. Built for field reliability and versatility, the HC136 covers a wide range of heavy-duty electrical terminations.
At its core, the HC136 utilizes a four-indent dieless crimping system that automatically conforms to the connector and conductor geometry. This produces a symmetrical, 360° compression (90° indent intervals), ensuring uniform pressure distribution and optimal electrical performance. As resistance increases during the crimp cycle, the tool drives to metal-to-metal bottoming, forming a secure, gas-tight connection.
Designed with operator control and safety in mind, the HC136 delivers 6 tons of crimp force and features an automatic relief valve to prevent over-compression. A release lever allows for quick indenter retraction, while the 360-degree rotating head enables efficient operation in tight or obstructed workspaces.
The HC136 also serves as the direct successor to the HC134.
For increased productivity and flexibility, DMC offers additional configurations:
- HCE136B: Battery-powered version
- XHC136: Remote hydraulic head
- XHC136C: Remote hydraulic "C" Style crimp head
