When ergonomics and production demands are critical issues and control of tool adjustments is required the DMC SCTP Preset Series Pneumatic Application Tool is a must. This tool is also great where single-handed operation of the tool is desirable.

Safe-T-Cable® is threaded through the fasteners, into the ferrule, and into the tool in the same fashion as the manual SCT tools, but the push of a button is all that is necessary to complete the termination. The Pre-Set tool automatically applies tension, crimps and cuts flush in one actuation of the trigger.

The cable tension mechanism is set at the factory and cannot be adjusted by the operator. The cable is fed into a tensioning mechanism on the tool body and tensioned by the tool when actuated.

This tool operates on standard shop air pressure of 100 to 120 psi, and may be suspended from a load balancer for an even greater improvement in ergonomics. Various nose lengths are also available for this tool.
