MH860-ERGO

Built on the legacy of the original MH860®, the MH860-ERGO (M22520/7-01) introduces ergonomic enhancements to reduce fatigue while optimizing mechanical efficiency. Not only does this manual indent crimp tool maintain the same mil-spec qualification and crimp performance but it incorporates significant improvements such as reduced handle span, ergonomic grips, better selector visibility, and enhanced gaging reliability. These new enhancements provide the operator with an easier crimping experience by providing a tool that fits perfectly into the palm of your hand and requires less force when crimping larger contacts.

Qualified AS22520/7, the MH860-ERGO accepts the entire middle wire range of 16 through 32 AWG. The MH860-ERGO is fully compatible with DMC’s positioners that adapt it to virtually all applications consistent with others in the MIL-DTL-22520 family. It was developed to meet the demonstrated need for supporting the majority of electrical systems with one versatile crimp tool frame.

The MH860-ERGO contains four symmetrically arranged precision indenters to ensure uniform crimping. A positive ratchet mechanism guarantees the completion of the full crimp cycle before the tool can be reopened, promoting consistent performance and process integrity. Selector settings allow the user to control the depth of the indenters, accommodating a range of contact and wire sizes. The MH860-ERGO is suitable for use in high-reliability environments where consistent, repeatable crimps are critical.

Other than keeping the tool clean and properly stored when not in use, no operator maintenance is required.
