The DMC95 tool kit provides your team with HT250 contact retention test tools and all necessary accessories to measure the retention of pin and socket power contacts in electrical connectors. HT250 tools accommodate contacts AWG 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 22, 23, 24, and 26 and deliver forces ranging from 1.5 lbs. to 40 lbs. Adjustable tool bodies feature nylon hand protectors and use replaceable, color-coded aluminum tester tips for easy size identification.
Please note: These retention test tools are designed exclusively for power contacts and are not suitable for coaxial or triaxial contacts. Retention testing to MIL-STD-1344 (Method 2007.1) requires specialized equipment. Preset test tools are also available. Contact DMC for more information.
